It's quite an achievement for this government to lose a seat they have held for nearly 200 years by such a margin. If that was replicated in a general election, they would have 3 MP's!
That's not going to happen, though I wish it would, but they have been battered not only in this election, but in other blue heartlands where a by-election has taken place and they have had their noses deservedly rubbed in the dirt.
I'm not a tory, I never have been and never will, but I was watching Question Time the other day and the arrogance of the tory minister on the panel summed them up. He was talking absolute bollocks, the whole audience was laughing at him, even Fiona Bruce was incredulous at what he was saying, and he carried on with his bullshit regardless. Some smart young man in the audience called him and his colleagues out for being clowns, which I enjoyed hearing as it was bang on the money in my view, but it flew over his head.
The week before, another cabinet minister was on the panel, and she must have gone home after the show and wished she'd not bothered. She didn't have any grasp or understanding of any of the issues discussed, and she was so far out of her depth it was pitiful to watch.
I don't know what is going on in the heads of our ministers, but their bullshit, I hope, is finally, and justifiably, being recognised.
This is the worst government we have had in our history, it is out of control and borderline fascist with the laws now passing through the house that will severely affect our traditional freedoms of protest and criticism, and do we have to suffer Michael Gove telling us he 'often' drives his car to test his eyesight when Dominic Cummins was caught flouting the lockdown rules on his trip to Barnard Castle?
None of them are honest, none of them have any moral compass, and none of them, frankly, have the brains to run a sweet shop, let alone the country. Their contempt for us is astounding, and they expect us to listen to them and nod our heads in agreement?
No bloody chance.
