So instead of preparing like the rest of Europe the man who is focussed on "beating the EU" allowed them to get ahead in the situation whilst they all concentrated on saving his arse

Can you imagine having to spend any amount of time having to concentrate on anything associated with that fat prick's gigantic arse?
 
Awful and horrid government. Appreciate the war going on in Ukraine and things could be a lot worse for us but the tories completely ignored a motion to prevent the increase to NI given the rise in living costs.

They really need to scrap the NI increase, reduce fuel duty to offset price increases and provide more support on these energy bills.

I really feel for families on lower incomes. Just as we've got through economic hardship from Covid we are now faced with these issues.

I'll be surprised if they reduce fuel duty tbh as it's not gone up in a while.
They could cut vat on fuel though.

They may come up with something that they'll trumpet as the greatest thing ever,
but when looked at in detail will probably be not so great.
Whatever they do it won't be enough.

This petition could do with a few more names on it for cutting VAT on fuel and reducing fuel duty.

The Government should reduce the cost of fuel through a reduction of 40% in fuel duty and VAT for 2 years. This can effectively offset the rise in fuel prices since 2020.

It would be a start if the Tories stopped applying VAT to fuel duty and just applied it to the fuel element ... but they wont .
