The Conservative Party

Given the fallout since last Friday’s pig’s breakfast, I suspect they’ll try and keep a firm lid on everything until their major release in November. That vacuum will, of course, be filled with wild speculation as to what they might do.
I've read this twice and I don't understand it

I was going to give their conference a swerve but it might be good for a laugh now. How many people do you think will be in the conference for hers and Karzi’s speech?

I though they would stick together and cheer her to the rafters but now I am not so sure. Perhaps they just won’t turn up.

Because of their experience in the last week of having done things on the hoof without proper costing, the Government will now try to avoid saying anything until November. To fill the inevitable void, people will speculate about what the Government might do next to fund their tax cuts.

And right before conference. It's wild how shit they are and yet they will continue to brass it out.
The problem is they do not know or believe anything different.
They are the political equivalent of the flat earth society so their cult dogma insists they are correct and the rest of us who have experienced the real world outside of H O C are simply disillusioned.

Like talking to an extreme Liverpool supporter.

Sunak has said he won’t attend the conference; he want’s Truss to have all of the attention she deserves, which is kind of him.
