Unlike yours what with your Nobel prize and allAs your entire existence is.
Anyway I am in too good a mood to argue after that marvellous performance from our lads.

they know that bill will never survive the Lords without massive rewrite. This is just more grandstanding and cultural warfare to create more division and re-energise their Brexit foot soldiers for the next election. When the bill is finally thrown out they can blame the Lefty conspirators, the Re-moaners and whatever 'enemy' or three word phrase they come up with next. That is the only way (they think) they can win the next election or at least avoid being wiped out. They are really the scum of the earth, 'tear the nation apart and relegate its standing in world politics so we can keep our power base'.which is literally why if we insist that because we passed a law to making coming here illegal would mean that if we tried to enforce that law crosses the line and breaking International Law.
Thats the awkward truth confronting the small boats and anti-refugee stance and why what the Govt says is bullshit because they know what that would do to our already diminished place on the world stage. It all boils down to the mind set that they have.
Give it up. Brexit was the Tories' fault, and austerity was a political and ideological choice, and Truss/Kwarteng was an "event" of their own manic devising. That's probably true, and certainly true if you look at the state of our public services. So Labour spent a lot more and our services were better. Well no shit Sherlock. But they left the economy in a dire straight, with a deficit way out of control and borrowing through the roof. Of course supporters will blame all of that on the crash of 2008 and none of it down to Labour.
Since then the Tories have tried to repair the economic car crash through austerity. (We don't need to debate whether or not that was the right approach, it is what happened). As a result, they spent less on services, so services have got worse. Again, no shit Sherlock. Spend more, services improve; spend less, they get worse.
Whereas Labour had the headwind of the 2008 crash, the Tories have had the quintuple headwinds of Brexit and then COVID, and the war in Ukraine and the energy crisis and finally world-wide interest rates going through the roof. Is it any surprise that given these events the economy has suffered terribly and with it, our ability to fund the public services we'd all like? Well hardly.
Even they know that it doesn’t pass scrutiny but that doesn’t matter because it was never about the law, it was all about feeding those that are frothing about migration and distracting those that are worried about the absolute shambles that this country has become.which is literally why if we insist that because we passed a law to making coming here illegal would mean that if we tried to enforce that law crosses the line and breaking International Law.

The real question should not be about small boats, it should be about where has all the money gone.
an interviewer needs to put this to Gullis - it would be funny as
