The Conservative Party

Honestly this is SUCH a waste of time.
Perhaps they care about the direction the Tories are taking the country.
First off, it strikes me as just plain WEIRD that so many of you left wing supporters want to waste your time on a thread about the Tories. It's just really odd. I spend precisely zero time on forums about Labour. I couldn't give a shite about Labour.
And being weird is just a Labour thing, nothing to do with weirdness of the likes of Mogg,
Do you also hang around Red Cafe and other such sites? I guess maybe you do. Very, very odd.
Not anymore, I got banned.
Here is just an echo chamber for all of you to have a good old moan. Does it make you feel any better? Because it changes absolutely FUCK ALL.
A moan a day keeps the Doctor away
And as to your silly, silly graphs, for goodness sake surely even you must realise that austerity, brexit, covid, Ukraine and rampant global inflation might just possibly have had something to do with the above?
Austerity - Tories, Brexit - Tory inspired, Covid - Tory disaster, Ukraine - Tory posturing, Rampant global inflation- the UK would have been in a far better place if it wasnt for Tory austerity.
Clearly you have a completely closed mind, so I know none of what I say will make an atom of difference. I am out.
The point of a forum is to put across your own arguments for the ideals, thoughts and viewpoints you believe in, I do, nobody is stopping you from posting yours. Perhaps the mind that is closed is not who you think

Does the prediction of inflation falling to 2.9% by the end of this year. not seem overly optimistic?
It’s probably not too far out. Fuel costs are the main driver at the moment and once reduced fuel costs filter through the system it will significantly help inflation. Fuck all to do with government policy though although they will no doubt take credit.

It was a clever budget, Hunt surprised me, he did enough to placate the Tory lunatic fringe, enough to placate the red wall Tory MPs and enough to make Tory voters who were considering not voting for them to rethink.

It will concern Labour as it could be the turning of the tide.

It does and inflation was on the way down without this budget anyway ,he also lied that mortages are lower when millions are affected by the kwartange budget still, hunt is a liar but then he is a tory

It’s substantially lower than some other countries are predicting. In the Netherlands, for example, that figure is what is anticipated in 2024 not 2023.

Flattered you seem to like hanging on my every word. I never knew I had such a dedicated fan ;-)

Oh and EDIT, "Perhaps the mind that is closed is not who you think"?

Well I might consider thinking about that the day someone, ANYONE, on the left on this forum says, "hmmmmm, good point, I had not thought of that". I've been here 15 years and have yet to hear it.
