A Dr from Manchester (MRI) has just been on newsnight reporting he’s been prevented from returning home (was over visiting family in Sudan).

He's got a work visa to work in the NHS but isn't a British citizen. There's (reportedly) another NHS doctor who's a British citizen, who wouldn't leave without his mother. I'm not sure I believe that with one of those transport aircraft they're actually choosing between British citizens who live in Sudan and NHS doctors who were visiting. I suspect it's Braverman arguing against possibly letting people into the UK "under the fake garb of humanitarianism".

Evidence - as if we needed more- that this govt is shower of shambling incompetents who really are washed up.
Instead of dealing properly with serious issues, here they are bluffing, huffing, and puffing, and spending their dying days criminalising peaceful protestors, nurses, and now, incredibly, people who walk slowly.
You can see why brexit is so popular with them. It‘s the the perfect representation of the kind of dogmatic, irrational, stupidity in which they specialise.
