The Conservative Party

Surely no one has a problem with organised immigration filling jobs that need to be filled? Be crazy if they did.

But we also cant have tens of thousands popping over on boats , slinging passports over the side as they do.
Thats surely equally crazy.

Reading this and the dublin riots thread spells out that the biggest issue in this country and ireland is housing, and lack of it. And introducing 700,000 a year to scrap over those houses doesnt help
Exactly, we need to build cities with hospitals etc etc to cope with these people, 700k fighting for housing along with people already here try8mg to do the same it’s just not going to end well, oh and don’t call me Shirley.

Shirley.

My dads been in hospital all week, its fuckin shambolic, and thats putting it politely. Minimum 4 month waiting list now for an operation.
A lad i know is trying to rent a house. Not only are prices ridiculous he is applying for each property with 30 others.
My son was out of work earlier this year, unless you want to work in care, which lets face it isnt everyones cuppa, there are loads applying for each job. Like hundreds.

So at the mo the countries full. Yep totally the fault of government after government making a pigs fuckin ear of everything , and i mean everything.
But it all adds up to frustrated people looking to blame someone. Because tehy are pissed off.

What a mess

You are a tory and will just defend that policy without caring about people like me

You’re so very wrong on that Karen. I posted this in the question time thread…

“I fully agree with you on this. The tax payer is propping up the likes of Tesco who post billions in profits. All supermarkets undoubtedly pay the same. It’s a disgrace. “Work should pay”, but firms should “pay their workers”, let’s worry about that before we start running headlines about docking claimants.”

I don’t support all their policies just because they are Tory policies. I’m actually disappointed that Starmer isn’t a bit more socialist (not too much mind) and it’s going to be more of the same. My views sit economically on the right and socially on the left. Like many who vote Tory I suspect.
