I would change that to the ERG/Tufton St, not the Tories, who are forcing this issue.The Tories and GOP have long been in bed with each other.
Imagine if she got away with crippling the country, how far we had gone to supporting corrupt governments? It’s bad enough that she can wield power as the ex-PM, moving forward would have been disastrous if she had stayed in place.

What has to be asked is who is setting the agenda at the top?Fair. I should say there is a global right wing apparatus in Western democracies aiding each other. I found it no coincidence that Truss was speaking at the Heritage Foundation and even the likes of Fox News also promoting her mini budget before its disastrous end.
What I like is that through many media sources, outside of those that we once used to form our opinions, the world can now see who really controls us.

It's pretty clear Bailey is well out of his depth in this role. Hardly any of his predictions are right. He got his inflation prediction woefully wrong 15mths ago. Then he got the UK growth figures wrong with his deep two year recession. And now he is talking the country's economy down yet again and scareing investment away. The only person seemingly more out of his depth than Bailey is his boss Hunt who is clearly clueless.The big question is, how did this tofu-eating, wokey, leftie, foreigner loving Britain-hater get a job like this where can talk the country down when he wants.Typical Bank of England so-called expert!

Of course they would! They are normal people like any private citizen. Why would they not take interest in public discourse or try to influence public policy like regular people do? They may not necessarily all be teaming together all the time but I bet they find a lot of areas to collaborate.
The only problem is that have due to their billions they have too much influence on public discourse compared to the average citizens and they tend to influence public policy in order to enrich themselves and not for the common good.
