How many more staff could have been hired to get the backlog sorted for all the money going to rwanda and the half billion going to the frogs , shocking management of our money , all to appease right wing racists

Assuming a staffing cost of £50k per person (Probably mid-20k salary, then cost of office, NI, pension, HR etc) then we could hire about 1250 case workers for 5 years with the £290m that's already been given to Rwanda.

There sort of isn't anyway?!

Everyone is bandying around the 750k net migration figure, but they keep leaving out that everyone, all the stats people government controlled and independent are confident it will be back down to about 230,000 in a year or 2, and this jump in immigration alwasy happens when there's a law change, and it is always followed by an equal and opposite emigration jump.

The 700,000 figure illustrated how meaningless the asylum numbers were - 1 asylum grant per 3000 people.

The only crisis is the backlog, which only exists because it's been engineered by cutting the budgets.
And it includes students, apparently, who by definition are both temporary, and if they stay, highly skilled.

And with the half billion going to france ?

Another 2,000 on top of that?

For reference in 2019 we had 500 people total working on asylum claims and the government was aiming for 2500 by this September just gone, but I haven't heard anyhting about that for a while so I guess they didn't hit the target.

Yeah, but if they did that, there would be no 'problem' with immigration for them to 'solve' would there?
Well, they could get on with dealing with the appalling amount of wokeyism which is rife in society and its insidious threat to destroy all we hold dear led by the twin spearhead of all things anti-British, Lineker and Vorderman.
Send them to Rwanda.
Common sense really.
It’s what the British people want.

Would we need to recruit them from abroad though ? :)

Well the funny thing is that back in the Labour days they were making 14 decisions per month, nw under the Tories they're making 4 decisions a month, and the only reasoning for why was basically staff churn, poor training and bad management.

If we just got their productivity back up to 14 cases/month, the 2500 that Jenrick promised would clear the entire backlog in 3 months.

Like I said in my post above, the more you look at this the more apparent it is that it's an entirely manufactured crisis.

I detect an attitude these days that unless you are a swivel-eyed fascist who wants to break the law when it is inconvenient you must 'hate Britain'.

I think this is a disturbing and dangerous state of affairs. For the record, far from hating Britain, I love it. What I hate is what these utter prunes have done to it with their incompetence, stupidity, avarice and downright wickedness.

And it includes students, apparently, who by definition are both temporary, and if they stay, highly skilled.

And they subsidise our own students. Foreign students make up 1/3rd of our students and over 2/3rds of tuition fees.

Every foreign student subsidises 2 british students to the tune of about £6k a year.
