Surely in this day and age the climate minister could vote without flying back and forth to the Middle East probably on a private jet. What a shitshow the whole parliamentary system is

Well the funny thing is that back in the Labour days they were making 14 decisions per month, nw under the Tories they're making 4 decisions a month, and the only reasoning for why was basically staff churn, poor training and bad management.

If we just got their productivity back up to 14 cases/month, the 2500 that Jenrick promised would clear the entire backlog in 3 months.

Like I said in my post above, the more you look at this the more apparent it is that it's an entirely manufactured crisis.

I suspect the reduced turnover is partly because they've been told to try to find more reasons to say no.

That wouldn’t be an issue anyway as most doctors speak other languages too.

I’ve been at Oldham A&E over 10 times in 6 months and seen translations happen on the spot, when the doctors get round to seeing patients.

It’s the number of doctors that is the issue, not translators.
