The funny thing is that their obsessive 'Stop the Boats'/Rwanda bollox is turning off moderate Tories and swing voters who are concerned about other issues.

At the same time they losing the the very people they are targeting with this nonsense to Reform because even the racists and xenophobes can see that the Rwanda policy is not going to work.

It makes me piss that Sunak talks about the "will of the people" when discussing the Rwanda topic. For a start, Rwanda/Stop The Boats wasn't in their 2019 manifesto prior to the last General Election, and secondly Sunak is an unelected Primer Minister so how the fuck would he know? If he bothered to get up off his arse and talk to enough people in this country, he'd find that the migrant issue is far down the list of priorities for the majority of the country. That's because we're a lot more concerned about the cost of living crisis, and most of us aren't stupid enough to blame those pesky foreigners for that particular problem.

All he's doing is pandering to the far-right knuckle-draggers and there are nowhere near enough of those to win him the next election. Stupid twat.

as evidenced by the nobodies they send out to do the rounds in the morning or to do the late night talk shows ........ I fully expect to see a Whitehall cleaning lady sent to do a stint on QT rather than a minister facing the flak any time soon. Cowards.

The NHS is not at fault what is left works brilliantly but the real question is why the government are restricting funds for our health services

It’s to easy to blame parents a baby born to inadequate parents can do nothing about it without state intervention. That’s why we pay into a system that is supposed to care for all our people

State intervention shouldn't be about wiping our arses all of the time because that is detrimental to everything else as there just aren't unlimited resources. Teachers for example should be teaching and not brushing kid's teeth just because the parents can't be arsed or don't have time to do it.

Would you be happy that your kids are receiving an inadequate education because teachers are too busy brushing teeth and feeding the kids of inadequate parents? It's impossible for the country to employ 2x teachers, one to brush teeth and one to actually teach the kids so everyone suffers.

There are a lot of ideas other than just accepting the problem. Can parents be given the right to more flexible hours? What about subsidising childcare costs or the cost of after school activities etc? Why not actually ask the parents themselves what the problem is? Nobody wants to bring kids up badly, there will be a way to prevent these problems and sort it out.

Some would say that your idea sounds like nanny state but actually it's something that's even worse than now. By removing responsibility we're actually choosing to accept a country where parents can neglect their kids and people can smoke and drink themselves to death because don't worry the state will clean up the mess.

As most of their money is probably stashed away in the Cayman Islands I don't suppose they will be that bothered really. An easy option to show that they are doing something. All the real players will be being looked after and left alone.
