The problem they have is that the quality of people whomhave achieved high office recently is so low that everyone that has been a Minister thinks "I could be PM".

Plus they are all so self-satisfied and/or stupid that they don't realise how they are viewed by normal people.

There's still time for the Tories to sack Sunak and put in a popular figure as PM. Er, like, er, mm. Christopher Chope would be a good choice. He'd attract Sid and Doris Bonkers.

Some people are still touting 'Boris' to come back! Oh, my aching sides.

Thats the issue isn't it? They have no-one - literally no-one who can turn it round. You have reet-smug who clearly likes to pontificate but would rather stay in the 19th Century than go for the top job or say 30p Lee or Gullis both of whom are stupid and already come across as beer garden bully boys not leaders. As for the rest of the contenders - they have tried woman they have tried people of colour so they have aversion to them now too. They are fucked.
