The only silver lining is the only way Boris can fuck up becoming PM is by being Boris.
Will McVey go full scouse at finishing last.
I like this Rory Stewart chap. Seems different and sensible
What a bizarre post.Comes across as 'honest' ,,,, that's not even his real name ..... he's lying to you about his feckin name FFS
Even the Scousers are disowning McVey.

It's our anachronistic and utterly broken political model, I'm afraid.I know we have had Tory leadership contests before when it's not only to lead the party but to become PM, but this one is making me feel particularly ill.
We have some of the most momentous decisions to make as a country very soon and yet we have less than 400 MPs, who some surely are concentrating on their own survival and careers, and then some Tory party members (not even a drop in the ocean of the overall electorate) deciding who will lead it.
That feels very wrong.
Yes, and I think this has finally shown me how ridiculous and broken it is.It's our anachronistic and utterly broken political model, I'm afraid.
For all it faults, it used to provide strong and stable (yes, I know) government, but no longer.Yes, and I think this has finally shown me how ridiculous and broken it is.
Depends what standards you want to hold your politicians to.He snorted some gear twenty years ago and that precludes him from co-ordinating drug strategy? Seriously?
Standards rooted in reality would be a good start.Depends what standards you want to hold your politicians to.
Usually I'd agree, but the standards in British politics have fallen so far, it might be a good time to raise them to a higher level.Standards rooted in reality would be a good start.
