The Conservative Party

Quite rightly parliament was being recalled to debate action over an alleged chemical weapons attack by Russia and what to do about it. But now Bozo's been fined the leader of the house has decided "Nah, you're alright" so him and Rishi can't be summoned to be punished for being lying cunts.

What kind of "Democracy" do we live in?

Chancellor Gove anyone?

Chris Grayling to the rescue
Gove and Grayling are just two of the reasons why it's a case of out of the frying pan and into the fire if Johnson goes. Truss, Dorries and Raab are three others.
The only ones he's handed responsibility to are totally fucking useless. Though potentially less corrupt.

A "democracy"that works for the few rather than the many.

Out of interest who lapped it up?

I said he should get credit for going. But I also said he should have resigned 12mths ago, and then in Jan when the parties came to light. I don't want him as our PM. But while he is still in the job I will judge his achievements on a case by case basis, there just haven't been many. But going to Ukraine just happened to be one. I have listed his other failings several times.

Ps Saying he thought he was following the rules either means he is too stupid to understand his own rules or he is a liar. I suspect its the latter.
Nearly everyone agrees that it was good that he went to show Britain’s solidarity with Ukraine, but he shouldn’t get any credit for going if his motive was purely for self interest by providing a diversion from his law breaking at home, which it clearly was.

Well I don't think him going there has had that effect on many voters.

Don’t forget the world-beating vaccine rollout. As though it was Johnson himself running round sticking needles in millions of arms!

I see that the Tory MPs, rather than copying and pasting the message from the whips, are making slight variations. Surprisingly, they haven't mentioned Covid, as they had previously. Instead it's a mixture of 'leading the war effort', 'getting the economy on track' (who the f would fall for that) and 'removing EU restrictions'. Shysters.

Easier said than done. Senior Tories; I can only think of Ben Wallace as someone who isn’t entirely tarred with the Johnson brush. Further down I like James Heappey and Douglas Ross maybe add Shaun Bailey to the mix.

Shaun Bailey? No way on earth he will become Tory leader. He has been in the limelight much less than Johnson and made as many gaffs. He also broke lockdown rules.

I am certainly not a Tory but out of that list, the least dreadful are Hunt and Zahawi. Not sure the latter will be up for it though.

Clearly the instruction has gone out that "it's a mistake but look at all the other stuff..." and talk the interview out as much as possible with a propaganda broadcast.
"there will be plenty of time next week to discuss this next week" - Mogg's going to set aside time for the Commons to insult the PM?

I see Shapps has accessorised his Union flag with a Ukrainian one.
