On this subject, anyone going to scouseland next week needs to be careful if we win. Those snidey little fuckers are still known to carry the odd blade as evidenced earlier this year when playing the mighty Oldham in the cup.

Will second that.
It seems to be in the area on Anfield Rd, from the Arkles to the Flat Iron.
There are a load of little scrotes hanging around,
No match goers as far as I am aware just local scum bags.
City chased them off last year and Newcastle had a bit of a do with them.
Better to have your wit's about if walking down there.

Dunno about "cool" but fighting in gangs is certainly for pussies
Careful mate ! You'll be ostracised for that. How dare you have an opinion that isn't the same as some people who knew some other people who were in a gang and had some fights ? You'll have some brain-dead clown who knows nothing about you and has never met you calling you a liar next . You have been warned !
How many people on this thread that you've called arseholes or brain dead clowns have you met and what do you know about them?Seems to me you're the most aggressive person on this thread, verbally anyway.I've not read anyone on here thinking its great to jump on someones head, just people recounting their experiences at games from a totally different era, times have changed for the better at football no doubt about it
Shut it, stinky bum !
In my opinion, they behaved like arseholes. I have a similar opinion of those hangers-on who romanticise about it/them. I do not behave like a liar. Next......

Most people who came through football in the 70's and 80's in this country would have the opinion you are a liar because they were in scrapes whether they looked for it or not.
Reading your sh1te, i too reckon you are on the wind up and i'd go further and say you've never even been to a match away from Maine Road either.
Got to be. Nobody is that fookin stupid.

Well Mr Cheetham hill blue, that's a grossly inaccurate summing up of my City supporting career. Not that it's any of your business, but, I started going in 77/78. I went to a lot of aways in those days with my mum and dad. Between 84 and 89,before I started playing seriously on Saturdays, I went to almost every game home and away. For an example, take millwall away, when Adcock scored at the far end and we didn't know it had crossed the line. I went on the train from Piccadilly, through euston, to new cross gate.. if I remember right it was £11 return. We were escorted from new cross gate to the ground . The large group of blues in the escort were sung at, mocked and snarled at by about 10 millwall fans. That was it. We didn't want trouble and we didn't get it. I know four lad's who did want trouble so they went on the arseholes coach and got trouble. The coaches were smashed and they got to the ground just after half time. They then had to pay single fares back from euston. One lad I know paid for loads of tickets on a dodgy card (a habit that later got him banged up). Even at a young age this didn't seem "kool" to me. I've done some daft things in my time, especially for one so bright, but fighting? For fun ? A mugs game , surely. I never said I hadn't been caught in trouble. Only that in my opinion, it was USUALLY avoidable.
