Wasn’t it DF who was thrown through Wimpys window by West Ham fans ?

Yes I always thought it was Don F that was put through Wimpys window and it was West Ham that did it.
 
I wish we had this amount of passion about us these days. Not going looking for it but just fighting for the name of our club. We could learn a lot from some of these guys

This is a brilliant trip down Moss Side memory lane but the bit that is important is ………..

During the clubs heyday between 1971 and 1981 it welcomed a great mix of characters. From the everyday regulars to flamboyantly dressed girls, streetwise kids showing off their dance moves, frustrated artists, weed smokers, Manchester City’s ‘Kool Kats’, through to the older heads,
Spent some of my mispent youth in the Nile Club in the late 70s/early 80s. It was a great place after the clubs in town closed and though it had a rough reputation was actually a very chilled place most of the time. It was a definitely a "City bar" in those days, as was the Cyprus Tavern.
