Wasn’t it DF who was thrown through Wimpys window by West Ham fans ?
Yes I always thought it was Don F that was put through Wimpys window and it was West Ham that did it.

Spent some of my mispent youth in the Nile Club in the late 70s/early 80s. It was a great place after the clubs in town closed and though it had a rough reputation was actually a very chilled place most of the time. It was a definitely a "City bar" in those days, as was the Cyprus Tavern.https://britishculturearchive.co.uk/2019/07/26/thereno
This is a brilliant trip down Moss Side memory lane but the bit that is important is ………..
During the clubs heyday between 1971 and 1981 it welcomed a great mix of characters. From the everyday regulars to flamboyantly dressed girls, streetwise kids showing off their dance moves, frustrated artists, weed smokers, Manchester City’s ‘Kool Kats’, through to the older heads,
Deffo. It always was and always will be Kool Kats and anyone that says different is a silly sausage.
That always makes me laugh. I've a brother who's now 50 and that's how I remember him talking when he was in his late teens. "I'll tune you in"Who are these lot then?
With all these little hoolly gangs we should have been the hardest fuckers around.
there's the man himself
I can actually answer this definitively, as I get a Christmas card every year from Donald Francis (true story). He signs it off with “MCFC Cool Cats”.@Ric - we should have a vote in this thread. KK or CC. Let the people decide on this highly important subject.
Stifling democracy by way of your egregious name-dropping. You really have no shame.I can actually answer this definitively, as I get a Christmas card every year from Donald Francis (true story). He signs it off with “MCFC Cool Cats”.
It’s not name-dropping. I’m simply saying if you fuck with me, you fuck with Donald. Consider yourselves warned.Stifling democracy by way of your egregious name-dropping. You really have no shame.
