I can actually answer this definitively, as I get a Christmas card every year from Donald Francis (true story). He signs it off with “MCFC Cool Cats”.

Yeh well I get Birthday cards and Christmas cards from three of the original lads, they asked me not to name them so I wont and they always sign them Kool Kats.

There was an arranged fight outside the Brunswick with Donald etc to sort it out with NF mobs once....the NF mob never showed up luckily for them. (someone said they were from Kollyhurst)

Vaguely remember sometime mid 80’s it kicking off at Everton between the Cool Cats and some other group of City fans. Might have been the mob from the junction in Cheadle Hulme.

Think I remember this wasn’t it on the steps of St George’s hall ??
