Currently on holiday with Mrs Jockstrap down here in the Broadway area, what a beautiful part of the country.....any Bluemooners live in the area?

If you have never been, try it for your next holiday, you will not be disappointed.

Architectural Cotswold fact: The roofs are so steeply angled because of the weight of the traditional stone roof tiles. If they were angled in a more shallow fashion the roof would collapse under its own weight.
Is that the same for their mosques ?

Yep , lucky enough to live within an hour of any of these places - downside is , it's a 12 hour £100 pound ( ticket + fare ) day to get to the Etihad.

Just finished working on the railway line from Swindon to Kemble Station (close to Cirencester) Some gorgeous villages around there although a nightmare to drive around as most are single track roads.

Northumberland is better.

Similar villages and countryside but without the overspill new build and council estates ruining everywhere.

There is some home building going on round here , but none of it is council estates and it's all sympathetic with existing architecture, and the climate is much better than anywhere in the country - except London - but who would want live there?
Sunshine on Cotswold stone is very beautiful.

Pubs generally good but beer rubbish - try Donningtons and tell me i'm wrong. The area south of Stroud, close to Forest Green FC, is wonderful.
Have you tried Hook Norton beers - definitely not rubbish!
