Typical City definitely exists but sadly it is dying.

Onwards and upwards, baby.
I need time to grieve baby. I wept as Aguero scored last night. No, no, no, this is not how it's supposed to be. I can only hope we got out to a blundered and comedy own goal in the second leg.

I suppose in a sense I do miss our previous incarnation, but only like lottery winners must miss their previous home - even though they moved to a bigger one voluntarily.

I guess in the past when we were routinely winning the cup for cock ups one thing we did have to hang on to was the fact that our club had heart and personality and could sometimes please you when you least expected it, but what love about City since the takeover is that we haven't lost our identity - we still have heart and personality - it's just that it will go hand in hand with success from now on.

So stop grieving and join the party, baby.

I refuse to believe in "Typical city" anymore, it's something the rags want us to believe. Onwards and upwards with a few minor blips is our future.

The new typical City moment will be only lifting two trophies this season. Amen!

The media will probably say we failed for not winning the Champions league the league cup and the FA cup. But The Ref's did help with two of those.

One thing you can't accuse Damocles of is not letting people have their say. He is by far the least likely mod to lock a thread, delete posts, give you a warning. Damocles will shout you down, call you an idiot, moron etc. but he won't censor you.

You're joking aren't you? Damocles is the biggest nice man of all the mods. He's like a big great bloke when he thinks soeone is having a go at him. Complete and utter all round smashing chap if you ask me.

Idiot.

I suspect the author of the first post didn't spot the 0-0 draw at West Brom, the 1-0 defeat at Sunderland, the joke refereeing that knocked us out of both the FA and League Cups and also delivered defeat at Everton.

That's more than enough Typical City for one season thanks.

Typical city will be conceding a last minute goal to united in the penultimate game if the season. I have a strong vision that something very unreal is going to happen in that game, how long is it since we last beat them at home. The script has been wrote.

i think typical city is a quote for the bin. the expectations and the realities are different. i travel the country a lot and people are afraid of our capabilities as a team and there are many wanting us to fail and hating us in a way usually reserved for the swampdwellers. grow some thick skin, we may need it.

I told you I could sense it..... ;-)

And wasn't it just the Daddy of them all?

Manchester bloody City. Sweet Jesus.
