instead they let hughes spunk 200 million up the wall on average players.
de jong - not good enough
barry - not good enough
toure - not good enough
bridge - not good enough
santa cruz - not good enough....for mellands on sunday morning!
and if they let mancini spunk another £200mill away, they will be making the same mistake
we are still an "also ran" club with a lot of money and until we start getting some doemstic or european success we wont attract the type of players we all want to see pulling on a blue shirt

i agree about the players but i honestly think even if we get 4th spot it wont be that easy to attract top players.
we have to realise that players are only teenage or twenty something kids and as far as their lifetime we have won fuck all and have no history or pedigree!
it just bugs me that other teams can get a side playing like champs that cost fuck all yet we spend that much on a bunch of clowns.

Thats what i call blind optimism, no chance mate, no leaders, a manager and coachinng staff lacking in inventivenes or ideas. A total fucking 200,000 million pound shambles, At least if Hughes was here we could call it his shaambles, but somehow if Hughes had still been a city, i think we wouldd of pulled through. With this clown all we can do now is wait for the axe to fall in May. Ridiculous as usual for us suffering cnuts at City.
Oh, and you dont need hindsight to see we wont get 4th, more chance of Everton getting it.

a bunch of clowns that out played their opposition tonight and got done by poor refereeing, a dodgy freekick and a counter attack.
Sorry I just think you lot moan for the sake of it sometimes, get a grip.

i think you need to get a grip son! and a fucking good dose of reality!

what reality? the fact we have a bunch of international players who beat chelsea home and away, arsenal home and got to the semis of the carling cup? the fact that theyve had to gel whilst having injuries, a change of management? the fact we're 5th, have home games against our closest challengers and were unlucky tonight?
I don't see where you lot are coming from to be honest. I think you all need to take a big step back and look at the bigger picture. We can do better, and we will do, I believe Mancini is the right man and that he needs to be guaranteed time, who else will we bring in? nobody, there's no-one more proven who will come and do a better job, and they'd all need to spend money and it's proven Mancini is astute in the transfer market.
You lot are SO SO SO impatient, can't blame you due to the failings of the trigger happy chairmen but I said at the beginning of the season that it's not only a learning curve for the club but the fans, some of you need to grow up and learn patience.

i agree with you over mancini, i want him to stay as well.
like i said earlier imo the owners should have got their own man in from the start.
its not impatience its frustration seeing players being made to look average. you say we outplayed everton, i dont think so. yes we had more of the ball, youd expect that from a team who havent lost at home all season but for me there wasnt enough heart and desire shown tonight.

The problem we have no is we can't score at home, which is down to the new manager.

or is it the fact our main striker has missed 7 games through stupidity and not performed in many others?

We have played as well with or without Ade. We are starting a Pearce like home run.

I am concerned about this, maybe our tactics suit away games better than home?
