I bet Everton fans are loving it. Shack is probably still in bed trying to decide whether to laugh or wank.

wanking over moyes ?? his daughter maybe !!!
thing with moyes is he does not endear himself to people, imagine his bitter face now. he needs to learn humility, it might have even saved him the united job. his career went tits up after the lescott saga, it's like football karma. i always said he was not big enough for the united job and it's good they have gone from the chosen one to the " giving her " one so readily. moyes would have had more respect had he not tried to take the piss out of us since leaving. look at how martinez has never belittled or derided wigan since leaving.

Genuinely, 'Do you feel as though Slur Alex handed you a poisoned chalice with an ageing squad that he failed to strengthen when needed years ago, so that he could maintain his 'superiority' even after he had retired. And......how pissed off are you that so called professional footballers didn't give you their all, undermined you at all turns and effectively got you sacked'.

Face it the poor bugger has been hung out to dry. Yes, he'll get a hefty pay-off but he has been royally shat on from a great height by the Govan Piss-Can.

I think a lot of people inside the game will have sympathy for Moyes. Yes, he's obviously made some mistakes, but I think he'll be better equipped to deal with some situations in the future and be far more wary of two faced, back stabbing twats like Giggs and Van Persie. For all he's a **** of the highest order, for once I agree with Keane, Man U players should be ashamed. By not trying for the manager not only have they shit on him personally, they've shit on their own fans who stump up their money and have to watch them perform like a bunch of prima fucking donnas.

He is a huge hypocrit and has been pretty cringey for a decade now. Talking about Everton "doing things properly" and not winning anything whilst Martinez has transformed them in a season. Talks about "being used to big games like this" every flipping game and celebrates when the rags score late at home to Sunderland and Fulham and then don't manage to win either game. Just totally looked overwhelmed at the Rags. A mid table team will get him back on track - he isn't worthy of anything better than that.

Re: Where does Moyes go from here?

The rumours were that he was set to have a break from football after his Everton contract, until he was offered the United job. Given the stress of the past 9 months he's probably even more ready for a break now so I'd suggest that'll be what he does.

He won't "need" to work again so may choose to just retire. However, he could come back in a couple of years and either do a bit of punditry/commentating or begin coaching again, he may take the route of being an assistant somewhere to get back up to speed or could just dive straight in at a lower level, e.g. the championship. I don't think he'll get a shot at a big job again so if he does come back it'll just be through love of the game rather than ambition.

It was the Lescott saga and the grudge he continued to bear for a long time afterwards which sprouted my dislike of Moyes.
We overpaid for him but when it was over, the club tried to put it behind us and behave professionally. Moyes was having non of it, and that piece he did in the Everton match programme a few years later when we played you at Goodison was disgusting. I'll be generous and say it was an attempt to whip up a hostile atmosphere, but it went much further than that. His comments were so vindictive and unnecessary, he could just as easily have incited the more excitable of your fans to violence.
The way he treated Everton when he joined Utd cemented my hatred of him. A disrespectful hypocrite with all the charm of skin disease. I hope his career never recovers.
At least you've landed on your feet with Martinez. A good young manager who it's impossible to dislike. I hope he wins stuff with you.

Best young British manager of his generation ruined by a squad of ego maniacal players who could only perform for a knight of the realm.

I'd be thoroughly humiliated if I was a rag, knowing my idols had shat all over my club, the united way and also the best young British manager of his generation.

He didn't have much competition, though, did he?

If Moyes had a problem internally with players at everton he resolved it by snubbing them or not playing them. This isn't an option at united as he never had their backing so I guess had to tread more carefully. The way he surrounded himself with people like phil neville and steve round would only protect him for so long. Martinez has much more integrity and conveys himself much better as our manager.
