I was born in 1952 in Warrington. When I went to the local Grammar school at 11 yrs of age I was in a class of 32, There was 1 City fan (ME) 1 Leeds fan ( a refugee from Yorkshire) and 30 rags. The Munich effect had already kicked in. I remember 68 the title win was diluted by them winning the European Cup. I've watched all those years of failure with a resignation that we'd never win another title. The FA Cup win assuaged some of the pain but we still hadn't won the PL. I admit when the rags went 8 pts clear I thought it was over for another season and they would win another title. I work in Sale which is rag central and the smug expressions on their faces was even harder to bear. Then the miracle happened. 5 games to go and they faltered, our prodigal son (Tevez) returned and we started winning again. I firmly believe we are destined to win the title. It won't stop me being nervous, I didn't sleep much last night and my stomach is churning like a cement mixer but deep down I know we'll win.
