A few years ago I had extensive dental work (like others have said it was the fear factor causing my delaying of the evil day). I had a number of teeth capped and others implanted and to be honest it was expensive at the time, a couple of thousand and the rest.
Move on a few years I had liver sepsis. It was the NHS that caused me to contract that but that's another story. To rectify this I had to undertake a procedure whereby an oral endoscopy had to be done and a camera had to be guided into my liver area to remove stents from my gall bladder (which should have happened within a few weeks of them being inserted in the first place).
What they found at this endoscopy was that some of these stents had become embedded in my liver and they couldn't all be removed. This procedure was to lead to my contracting the sepsis and I nearly died.
It just seems to be a side issue now but the endoscopy loosened or broke all my dental work. I'm not going to go back to the dentist and do it all over again and instead the hospital dentist can do it by just making my gob safe and I'll make do with dentures but the waiting list is long.
