The deterioration of Blue Moon

My only complaint is on Matchday when I have no access here in Dubai to decent live coverage and I have to rely on the Yahoo matchcast and our very own forum. It's really maddening when people simply write FFS or similar words without explanation. Have the opposition scored, has a City player been red carded or has Jo missed a sitter? It's maddening.

My attitude too ......

it's just a top notch football forum , nothing more , nothing less ..... and some posters take life far too seriously.
 
I've been on tons of forums, and this is one of the best because we all share a common interest. The prevalence of spam threads will rise because the userbase is rising and becoming more active, leading to more irrelevant shite.

Bluemoon is no 4chan, and I don't see it going that way to be honest. Splitting up some of the banter into 'City' and 'Everyone else' should be tried I think, as well as putting all of the training reports into a sticky at the top. They're the only reason I made an account, to be honest.

What about streams? I use them whenever i go back home to Abudhabi .They should work unless Etisalat has blocked them for some reason
 
the removal of the silly overusing of what were funny jokes in their original context ie. "clarkie", "shitbag" etc.

new users forum might be a start, where regular users can pop in and therefore the new idiots/rags will weedle themselves out.

Other stuff like new mods/new CoC is up to Ric, but I think on the latter it's more people not reading it/not using the complaint button etc.

More tolerance from certain users and more consistency ie. new posters get the same discipline as regulars could also help.

Just suggestions.
 
The Bluemoon Elite don't like the way the site is? Well they can fuck off for my money.

Multiple usernames, constant moaning about the Good Ol' Days, conspicuous denial of post count as emblematic of credibility. They're as bad as every fucker else.

And yeah, let's learn from the likes of Sad Cafe and plaster the site with shit animated avatars and quotes from Groucho Marx and the Office. Make it proper shit.
 
Anything else other than the way it currently works will just intensify the notion of the clique on here which everyone knows exists but it always denied.

Certain posters feel their opinion is more important than others no matter what is posted.

Belittleing posters on a 'post count' basis is the norm.

The COC should read 'unless you have 10,000 psot expect to be patronised and belittled at every opportunity, if you complain you will be kicked off'
