Well said Damocles.It's a football forum.For football fans.
With differring opinions and comedy posts.
If you don't like it,or it's somehow "below" your superior intellect,don't critique it-just ignore it.
Although saying that,I suppose if we had a "2-1 degree,30K a year" entry criteria then we'll get far less instances of "could of" and "there."

I think you can have plenty of decent discussion on here, i do think that there are a few which constantly moan about this "quality of debate" on here are infact the biggest offenders at times. If you want debate i think you have to be able to compromise your own views first.
Personally, and i may be wrong, i think we've a lot of people 'trying' to be noticed; whether that be through thread creation, trying to be funny etc it could be because we've had a decent influx of new posters in 2010 or jsut the fact the sheer volume of people on here who all want to try and say something.
I don't think we've any major issues on here right now.

I've been coming on this site for over 5 years now and it's basically been the same for the past 3 or so.
Things happen in cycles; (some more frequent than others) whether it be the questioning of tactics, slating the ticket office and loyalty points system, hooliganism, old songs/new songs for new players, the 'munich' issue, best and worst XI's, is 'x' the best player we've had, which red do you hate the most?, harking back to past players and wondering if they could still do a job for us, we should of never have sacked/sold 'x'...
Within threads we've had for ages 'I don't think he'd come to us' to have a response of 'what the fuck do you know, rag?!' or 'I think the manager was right to do 'x...' to be responded with 'you clueless twat'. Doesn't matter if it was Sven, Hughes, Mancini or even Pearce - I've seen it here all before!
You know that on Off Topic you're gonna get a weekly political debate where all the lefties call the righties Nazi's, and all the righties call the lefties hippies. You're gonna get the 'what is your favourite Oasis song' thread every few weeks, you're gonna get the odd classic thread about sexual activity every month, you're gonna get black mamba posting about 68 photos of some bird you've never heard of, you're gonna have people try and 'out' a poster as being Banned Tosspot despite him no longer being on the site.
And of course, no matter what part of the forum you're on, you will always have someone who thinks every single word they have just posted is correct, and on that note, goodnight all!
