Spherical trigonometry when applied to the Earth is close enough to be considered perfect on scales. Otherwise there'd be some very lost ships.

Either one of two things is true:

The entire body of knowledge that we call science is false and we've managed to conceal this fact OR the flat Earth theory is false.

The Earth rotates around the sun. One side is gradually brighter, one side is gradually darker, allowing us to use the system of time zones we have. If the Earth was flat, all of it would be day time at once.

But what if the sun was only 50miles away...just saying

I don't understand this craze and not enough proof on it. Not sure why it started or why the government would cover it up. Do we fall off the edge? What's on the other side?

I guess there are millions of flat earths across the universe which are probably labelled as asteroids or something
