What they striking for this time?

Surely why wait to the autumn is the more pertinent question. Weather's ace to be outside.

I know its a wank decision. Nobody seems to strike in summer. They have it all backwards

Like cricket and football...long trousers and jumpers in the summer and shorts and t-shirts in the winter. It's a topsy turvy world.

Something in the paper t'other day to the effect food prices will triple over three years. If this comes to pass, it's a recipe for higher inflation, probably high(er) interest rates, and a large number of very unhappy bunnies. That would really screw the economy.

A tripling of food prices would yes but I'd like to read this article as its about as likely as me growing a third arm.

For any stats dullards out there, and perhaps BB85 as he asked earlier, here's the UK's GDP growth since 1955. Skashion has very nicely added a column for the aggregated decadal growth and the decadal PA average. Ain't he a kindly sad fucker?

Rule #1 - It needs graphs and stuff to make it exciting. Everything looks better with graphs and charts.

Agreed, far easier to understand for the educationally challenged too. i.e ME!

I agree, whenever I read a post with these kind of remarks I stop, as I know it was written by someone with a chip on their shoulder
