The Eddie McGoldrick paradox

In the bad old days there was an endless list of players who had been great at their previous clubs but ultimately disappointed with us:

David Cross
David Johnson
John Deehan
Nigel Clough

Plus those who seemed great for a few games then disappeared, like Steffen Karl.
 
Paul Walsh - saw an article about him A few months back and he was going on about city and I totally forgot about him even though I remember him being fairly decent for us

John Deehan never had a bad game for City.....

As for Steffan Karl - drove all the way home from Prestatyn listening ton the Southampton v City game on GMR.
Crap 0-0 game. Pull up outside the house as the game moved into time added on. Went from the car intonthe house, straight tonthe kitchen amd turn the radio on.... Changed the station to GMR just as Andy Buckley is freaking out celebrationg Karl's goal!
