Fuck me getting that goldens dragon claw was a nightmare. Still enjoyed giving it to the shopkeeper for a 400 quid reward then breaking in that night and stealing it.


Awhh the joys of unpunished theft.

What a game, 10/10 at the minute for me. Still only 2 hours in literally and haven't even scratched the surface. It's love.

Haha i'll go back there and take it ;) at whiterun currently, about to go do a side mission of going to a bandit camp.
 
The game seems to be stuck.

I ahve got out of the underground caves and now have a helmet spinning on a black background and the game giving me tips constantly.

No button does anything but I can make the helmet spin around and move backwards and forwards.

It dosnt seem to have crashed as I can also press the middle button and bring up the PS3 options screen.

The game has crashed 3 times already though.

I would suspect it wants me to press start but nothings happening.

fucking new games.

If you've been playing for hours the disc gets really hot and some of the data can't be read this sometimes causes freezing
 
It had crashed, reloaded it and it didnt do it the second time.

Will be very pissed if this is continual trend though.
 
absolutly amazing im just in windhelm meeting the fella who is praying to the dark brotherhood off on my first assasination mission now. one problem though... it doesn't fit my telly the messages at the top of the screen that tell you when you get items/gold is cut off i've tried all the settings on the remote but nothing, its not a major problem but would like to know what my rewards are if anyone has any ideas.

got work in 8 hours so im being sensible and sleeping
 
Just played my first couple of hours. Just learning my first mage training.

You can just tell this game is breathtaking and going to be amazing
 
A tip for people who are playing Skyrim on the PC.

Graphics tweek....
Open the file called SkyrimPrefs.ini (Documents/My Games/Skyrim on XP) with a text editor and change the following lines:

iBlurDeferredShadowMask=3 (Recommended: 1) - Changes shadow definition

fTreesMidLODSwitchDist=0.0000 (Recommended: 10000000.0000) - Changes tree LOD distance

iShadowFilter=3 (Recommended: 4) - Changes shadow filtering

bTransparencyMultisampling=0 (Recommended: 1) - Toggle Trasparency MS

iWaterMultiSamples=0 (Recommended: 4) - Changes water AA sampling

bTreesReceiveShadows=0 (Recommended: 1) - Toggles more shadows on trees

bDrawLandShadows=0 (Recommended: 1) - Toggles more land shadows

fGrassMinStartFadeDistance=0.0000 (Recommended: 400.0000) - Changes grass fade distance

iWaterReflectHeight=512 (Recommended: 1024) - Changes water reflection resolution

iWaterReflectWidth=512 (Recommended: 1024) - Changes water reflection resolution

uiMaxSkinnedTreesToRender=20 (Recommended: 40) - Changes tree skin textures


Additionally, these lines can be added to further enhance graphics:

Water Rendering

Long Distance Mesh

Save the file and start the game it to see the effects in action.
