Where can I buy a house? I missed the part in DragonReach where the baldy mate of the Jarl offers one and I havent managed to come accross one since...

Also, what/how do I get enchantments? Every time I go to an arcane maker my enchantments menu is empty...
Any advice appreciated!

you can go back to the same guy and he still offers you the house, its 5000.


you need to unenchant items that you have that are enchanted.

Its like a big mechanical colossus that shoots an ice cloud that instantly kills you...... its summoned as soon as you come face with the falmar leader........ its a massive ball ache I was contemplating on turning it onto easy just for it but I knew when I complete the mission I'd never forgive myself!!

have a look around, just because they are not in the main hall doesn't mean they are not there they might be in their rooms within in the same building.

anything that does has some effect when you use it, generally they have a glowing out line. so a sword that does frost damage or a robe that regens magica faster for example.

Unless the mechanical monster is only in the PC version? But I would of thought they would include it in all versions....... maybe if your feeling bored or passing by you could drop back into the cave and see if its there, dead or alive...

Any mages out there make sure u buy spell tomes when you go winter hold colleges for training, it's a lot harder if you wait till the end like I did! Lightning bolt and fire ball are good ones

now I am looking for new, strong follower .. anyone can recommend any? :)

also I was attacked by a dragon in Winterhold just now and I got stuck underneath one of the house while he was on 50% .. frustrating !

Just started the game proper and the within the first five minutes I tried to pickpocket some guy who pulled off some defensive spell and started kicking my arse so I started to run with him chasing me, then some whore started casting spells at me and some bloody wolf tried to eat me. Managed to jump into the river and swam to the middle... ur now what?

I refuse to give it another go, I feel robbed! The game needs a new home before it gets snapped.

Remember when i said my horse committed suicide?
Well it didnt!! Went back to Whiterun a couple of days later and it was there waiting for me!
It has also helped me kill a dragon by kicking it in the head!
Completed a Companion guild quest and i got a very special power............ ;-)
