Regardless of what most people think the game was actually switched to the Nou Camp to accommodate the 100,000 city fans that went.

Thought it was. Had to travel across Spain from the Bernabeu after the Swindon home game was switched.

England v Hungary 78 (school trip aged 15!)

That's spooky!!

I also went to the England vs Hungary game in 1978, also on a school trip, also aged 15!
Score was 4-1 if I remember correctly?
I remember Peter Barnes scoring ;-) and I've just checked and there were also 2 future City players who scored that game! Trevor Francis and Phil Neal!!
Remember singing "We all agree, Ally MacLeod is a Wanker!" all the way back on the coach, much to the "Chargrin" of our teachers lol

Also went to England vs Italy in 1997 when England lost 1-0 to a goal from Zola!
I remember a load of Chelsea fans having a go at everyone for calling Zola!! WTF?

Its Camp Nou and I was there. Very cold and got lost in the "Shambles"

Seriously - I have been lucky enough to have been there every time City have played there from 1969 onwards. Plus all Challenge Cup finals since they returned without any success so far!

Whoops forgot the Stockport V Rochdale Play off. Colder and wetter than the Camp Nou match v York

There were thousands of us locked out. The designated areas with the big screens were rammed. Even a few York fans in there but think they were tourists with half n half scarves
