The End of on Street Parking within walking distance of the Etihad

Checked it out early doors, definite restrictions now in place. Double yellow lines down one side of River Park Road. Fully parked on the opposite side. Briscoe Lane, one side available, but I'm sure all places will be taken by now. Get your brain in gear for some alternative travel.
On the bus now, fuck scrambling about for a car parking spot, at least today buses are regular

Loads of new double yellow lines all around there today. The parts where there is still parking have these new signs, that aren’t in use yet, but will no doubt soon have restrictions to stop match parking. Cuntish from the council.
 
It is becoming a real problem for people this though isn’t it: if mobility not great the options are limited.
Even seen a disabled car with a parking ticket on today, parked in a makeshift bay near the Vermillion, probably illegal but absolutely nothing round it, it’s a blocked off road!
 
Wonder how many people got ticketed Today?
Saw one on Briscoe Lane, parked in front of gates that haven't been used for years, and have a huge concrete block behind them to prevent use. First time I've ever seen anyone ticketed for parking there.
Shithouse wardens creep about when most fans are in the stadium too. I Fuckin hate the cowards.
 
It’s going to be carnage soon , thousands of cars with nowhere to go unless you have a blue badge. River park road got parking bays one side now and double yellows other
