The club wants (and increasingly needs) football tourists to boost revenue. Traditional fans don't fit the bill any more.
I'm a Blue for life, but the City Group' plastic marketing machine has managed to put me off actually going to games for good. .

That's exactly how I feel right now.
I used to go on a coach to Maine road before Marriage & kids .
I now sit in family stand surrounded by tourists taking pictures of every corner.
I think I'm turning into a miserable old bastard (52)
 
Hi Guys , looking for some advice please reading some posts about parking restrictions being or being put in place around the stadium, I am traveling down with my son for the Copenhagen match from Glasgow and anytime I have been down before I have stayed In town and used the tram , is there anywhere I can nearish to the stadium even if I need to pay ? TIA

St Anne’s RC church Carruthers street. About 10 mins walk. £7. Are you staying over? If not then maybe park at Newton le willows station 5 mins off M6 and get the train to Piccadilly (15/20 mins) - not sure of the times back but would save you an hour driving. Free parking at station.
 
Drove down Clayton Lane & noticed restriction signs - permit only between midday & 9pm. still loads of city fans parked there. Anyone get a ticket???
