They just don't seem to be able to get it right in the PL. Anybody been watching and got any idea what's happening with them?

Nothing wrong with their first 11 but with a lack of squad depth and with them being in the Europa League that does effect their PL form

I imagine that a fair few of their players being quite old doesn't help matters, much harder to recover game to game.

I think depending on who drops down from the Champions League into the Europa League I reckon Everton have a big chance of winning that competition.

They will need to strengthen and freshen up a bit January but if they can grind out results away from home they can win the ties at Goodison because it's such a hard place to go and get a win.

I think Everton and maybe Tottenham both know their best chance of getting Champions League football next season is to win the Europa League.

Both teams have good enough squads to win it.

I've said it before and I'll say it again. If Martinez was such a good manager, why were Wigan in relegation battles every season? Last season, there was still quite a lot of Moyes coaching in that team and Martinez added a bit of football to them. But all the Moyes work has been coached out of them and they've turned into Wigan Mark II.

They're in serious danger of being drawn into a relegation battle, just like Martinez's old club.

Wigan were in a relegation battle because football is about money and most clubs had more of it than wigan. Staying in the premier league with a club of that size is an achievement.

Wigan had no money, just staying in the league was an achievement

Did Martinez really play Baines as a number 10?

He's been poor most of the year IMO. I think Luke garbutt the young lb should be playing and has the potential to be better
