The Everton thread 2014/15

Everton were one of the so-called Big 5 who sold the other 87 clubs down the Swannee, with the ITV deal, back in the 80's. In fact, their then chairman (name escapes me, sorry) accompanied Arsenal's David Dein throughout the negotiations - the pair of them having been elected to do so on behalf of the entire Football League.
It would give me no end of joy to see them relegated. My only regret would be that their partners in crime continue to prosper.

Martinez is flapping and as such is trying the "throw enough shit at the wall" mentality. Couldn't believe the team he picked at weekend, he's just chopping and changing all over the place, desperately hoping to hit on a winning formula.

If we can beat Wednesday I hope we don't get Everton in the FA Cup.

They have always frightened me Everton. I think the FA should change the rules and each season we play them twice in August to get it out of the way. Really not looking forward to next week especially seeing as we have won a couple against them recently - normal service soon to be resumed.

Sorry for being such a pussy but Everton just do this to me.

You can see he is losing the players. You cant pick the star names then try and come up with a system to crowbar them in.eto has given martinez a headache,he has to play him but it unbalances the team, whwre rhe fuck was bainws playing against newcastle?hope he survives til we play them...we will beat them no problem, they are half the side of last season and distin is finally showing his age.

In a relegation battle?

I hope so, too many poor teams below them though.

pretty much this, too many poor teams below us. martinez seems focussed on the europa, but his results generally this season have been awful.
