The FA Cup (4th Rd ) - Cardiff (A)

I want us to try our very, very best to win every single game using the players and tactics that Pep believes to be the most likely to achieve this aim at the time in question.

The talented back room staff he has assembled know full well which players are mentally and physically able (or not able) to play.

For us oldies, the FA Cup is a worthwhile competition to win.

My answer to the original post is an emphatic NO.

Bury seemed more of a temporary blip at the time whereas Halifax was yet another fine mess in an increasingly long list that would lead to relegation by Luton and eventually the disasters of the 90s.
Possibly but we'd lost 3-0 at 3rd division Bolton in the previous season.
Perhaps Bury was worse for me as my school was in Whitefield and the support was split between City, rags, Bury and Bolton.

OK we're through. So who do we want to draw tomorrow night?
And don't give me any shit about the rags as they'll have their best match day officials available for selection.
First choice would be a lower division team at home, preferably one I've never seen us play at either Maine Road or The Etihad, so that's Fleetwood (if they win their replay), MKD, Newport, Peterborough, Stevenage (if they win their replay) or Yeovil. And I'll add Coventry as I've not seen them at The Etihad.
Or an away game at a ground I've never seen us play at, so that's all the above apart from Peterborough.
But we've not had a domestic cup tie against opponents from below the Championship since Notts County seven seasons ago and I'll be amazed if our luck changes.
Not fucking Peterboro
I don't want any Blue's giving money to those fucking crooks
