The one thing I always think about The Fall is for all the focus on Mark and his lyrics and demeanor they also had some fantastic players in the band.

The Fall have had the most different line-ups of any band. When asked what makes a band ‘The Fall’ ? Mark E answered that if he was up front and his Granny was on bongos then it was ‘The Fall’. With that in mind, is this a great fall track?

Me too. I’ll never knock a man’s choice of woman, religion or music. Although my last two gigs were seeing Morrissey at an arena in Brum and Marr in a small venue in the same town. J’f’M won it by a street.

Was my first introduction to early Fall in 78. - 3 track 7" EP with the excellent tracks - Psycho Mafia, Bingo masters breakout n' some other track on the back.

Noticed on the tunes thread there is quite a big fanbase on here.

I've been exploring them for weeks now and find a new gem most days but there is just so much to get through so thought I'd ask BM to contribute their best and/or little gems.

I'll kick us off with a couple.....

Fuck me that's a travesty.

What's also a travesty is this thread. A couple of average songs followed by a pile of dross. The lead singer sings as well as he looks. I know music is subjective but fucking hell, some of you need to clean your ears out.

Old Fall trying hard to be Joy Division...later Fall just a parody of a band.

I've emailed my mate at Cherry Red Records asking him to burn the contract they have for the rights to 40 albums...no one wants them re-released. A total waste of vinyl.
