Love 'the mixer' what a tune, was that off Code Selfish or Extricate ?

I think the mixer was on shiftwork-which Is one of the better Fall albums.I always liked kurious oranj and this nations saving grace.

My mate reminded me over Chrismas that we saw The Fall at the Concord Suite in Droylsden, I looked it up and it was Friday June 16th 1978. It was a Rock Against Racism gig and they were supported by John the Postman. Totally forgot about that one.
Found a ticket on the web too..

Code Selfish is my top fall album followed by extricate, also the latest album is top class IMO Your future our clutter.

Smith came and sat with me and a few mates in the Ape years ago while we were talking about City. He was bladdered, and a real pain in the arse, telling me I wasn't a proper City fan and started to ask random questions to make his point i.e. which pub did Tony Towers used to run? Ironically, he won't give a straight answer to any question.

Met him in there since with a girl, and he was a bit more composed and I've seen him on a few other occasions too; almost always on his own.

I have a pint and chat with Tony most weeks.

Extricate is a favourite of mine. The compilation album 'A Past Gone Mad' or The Peel Sessions box set will give you a good overview of the music..
