Would you say the same if we find out this week that Haaland is out with a neck problem?

(Not that he would be but stranger things have happened)
maybe big erl shouldnt of got on the team coach,it could of crashed

i don't want pitch invasions, however this was an isolated and imo a heart warming moment which again imo doesn't deserve a lengthy ban, a slap on the wrists maybe and warned about the lads future behaviour,

we've all had crazy moments,he doesnt deserve a ban for showing a bit of spur of the moment joy,

He does deserve it because those are the rules as far as I'm aware.

And those rules are there to discourage this behaviour for a very good reason.

He looked like a fucking lion lunging on a giraffe ffs :-)

Where do we draw the line, though? Presuming it's okay because Terry is a good local lad. Before we know it, you'd have overseas fans halting the play several times during a game to take selfies with the players.

The rules are clear. Anybody who enters the pitch gets a ban. We can all argue about this until we are blue in the face, but if you are prepared to break the rules, you have to be prepared to face the consequences. That is life.

A little bit different at Bournemouth away 6 years ago when Sterling scored the late winner. Loads of people spilled on and the cowardly coppers targeted one young lad and were rightly given a mouthful from Agüero.
to tell you the truth ive never heard of him before this, running on the pitch to take a selfie stops play, this didnt and was right in front of the city fans, as for the bournemouth incident completely different ,one bloke hugs a player, the other steward attacks a fan,not sure where they are connected

“Heart warming” lol

Hang on. Was this guy one of ours? Or was it a Blades supporter? In both cases it should be a permanent ban from either the Etihad or their stadium. If it's the first case, it's almost even more shocking.
You simply cannot have fans running on to the pitch and assaulting players. Supposing one day someone's carrying a knife?
It should be stamped on really hard. Otherwise it's the return of fences in every stadium. And nobody wants that.

No chance they will put up fences again in this Country

I had to laugh at Terry singing we love you City as he was escorted past the Sheff Utd fans.credit to him.

Anyway, we know the scale of punishments for pitch invasions however fair or unfair they are. They guy also has at least one nob as a mate who hit East Stands Level 2 with a traffic cone on a Bluemooners day out

haha, better than shattered ,scared or even startled, could of had a knife, next we will be having fans from other countries holding up play for selfies(not white english obviously) haha thought that one was a bit odd, what the sheff utd CBs were doing to erl put him in more danger, so yes it lifted my spirits(it was either that or the fact the big dumb bugger had actually found the back of the net)

for all we know erl the footballer and terry the boxer could be in a relationship :), so yeah heart warming :)

Fences would spoil the view for thousands of fans but they would at least reduce the number of people doing this. Obviously it wouldn't completely stop anyone who is a total dick head.

But if it was my son playing out there and the trend was that more people were invading the pitch then I'd be all for fences.

Supporters are meant to be there to support... not to get their moment of fame.

This guy could be the loveliest person in the world but he should get a lengthy ban.
"Would spoil the view"? I'm guessing your younger than me and didn't go to football in the 70's and 80's then? Although you must have heard of the Hillsborough disaster?
They were immoral and classified all football going fans as hooligans but they didn't spoil the view, you naturally focussed past them.
