The first album you ever bought?

Funky Junction play tribute to Deep Purple. 50p from Wooliies on Stereo Gold label. Turned out to be a collectors piece due to it being a bit of moonlighting by Thin Lizzy. Now goes for hundreds of pounds, especially in Japan.......

At 7! How did you have the concentration to listen to a double live album at that age? Very impressed. Was it because you could put on your dressing gown and pretend to be Alex Lifeson, or was that just me.....?

Would have bought records/albums much earlier and probably many Bowie and original Ultravox stuff, but our kid was 3/4 years older and seriously into music, he always bought the stuff I liked so I saw no real need, it was only when I got a bit older and we'd fight did it really become an issue, plus I'd always be 'accused' if there were any scratches on them.
