Took loads of flags home. Ive got my xmas wrapping paper now :)

Convinced the rag media control the audio output from the game, watched it in Oz no atmosphere at all and then you see some of the you tube clips, bastards every one of them

yeah. Also I think NBC sports have done a good job with PL coverage, from what I have seen.


I thought the display looked great on my not HD tv. The crowd volume was good at the start and like others have said went up and down after about 30mins. I think it's to be expected and I feel like it went with the game, not just noise/songs for the sake of it.
Well done for everyone who went.

Great post. Forget BT SPORT. Give these guys your money instead. Maybe bt will sack wio and sue him for loss of subscriptions because of un impartial views.

When Dortmund were 3-1 up at Liverpool you could hear a pin drop. Instead of shutting up shop Dortmund went for it. Then Liverppol scored and it raised the crowd. Instead of shutting up shop again, Dortmund kept on going for it. Liverpool scored again. The Liverpool fans went mental. The rest is history. Likewise tonight, if City had scored the crowd and atmosphere would have been even better.

I've watched CL nights at Chelsea(Cundy you c***!), Arsenal, and United, and they've been s***'! Bit not once have you heard the likes of Cundy & co ever criticize their atmosphere.

Typical spin by Talk Shite tonight to put a negative on a positive night.

Don't tune in. Once the ratings drop the bosses will find decent presenters.

Which bit of the ground were you in that had a poor atmosphere? It was OK at the north end of CB2 and it's usually dead in there.

The coverage on CCTV5 in China sounded awesome, loads of noise. Nothing played down.

I think if the flag display would have carried on for 90minutes I would have had my moneys worth tonight. Amazing.

It couldn't have my arm was aching after a few minutes and I couldn't see a thing, they were huge.
I get what @citijin says about songs. I hate bluemoon and think we should adopt the Hey Jude tune. It's much better but there are some new songs coming out which is good. I think nerves played a part in the atmosphere as did that it wasn't a thrilling game more a typical semi first leg.

A little bit disappointed in the overall atmosphere after the initial good start as I thought it would be better being a semi-final of the European Cup but it was still decent and much better than we normally produce. For once we were loud before the game (it's a shame the club just pumped music out as it would have been better if we'd been left to create the noise pre-game) and it carried on for the first 10 minutes and was still decent for a while but then it just faded away as there was nothing really exciting going on in the game.

The display was brilliant! Wonder what it looked like on tele?
