I watched the game on Bein sport everything looked and sounded great ,until after the game when Shearer JUST SAID city WERE POOR .never mentioned the fact that even though it was our first time in the semis ,we played brilliantly and are one goal away from the final ,

The display was the best thing of the night.
The match was poor and so was the atmosphere.

Which bit of the ground were you in that had a poor atmosphere? It was OK at the north end of CB2 and it's usually dead in there.

Unbelievable display tonight. It looked great on the ground and I've heard even better on television. We probably put on the best pre match displays in Europe. Very well done to however organised it.

Atmosphere inside the ground was brilliant for 10 minutes before the game and for the first 30 or so. Then as the game settled in it became a bit quieter, but that's normal in any stadium. There weren't many glaring chances and we didn't play well enough in the right areas to get the crowd properly going. More chances means more standing on feet and making noise. The problem tonight was the game never really kicked in and it reflected in the noise levels.
Still thought overall it was good though.

Have to say Ive been the first to criticise the Etihad atmosphere and I still think its barely there in the PL however went tonight and was not far from the South stand Block 121 Colin Bell stand and thought the fans in there were brilliant. They gave it everything tonight. Dont know how that came over nerally around the stadium but I certainly was surrounded by a good deal of noise. Flags at the beginning was brilliant. Talk shite tonight just going on and on about the lack of atmosphere as if the match didnt really matter. Deary me.

I think if the flag display would have carried on for 90minutes I would have had my moneys worth tonight. Amazing.
