The FOC thread.

Me dad worked for them in Trafford park
Suffice to say we never went without at breakfast plus we had boxes of that stuff.

It was quite pricey to buy if I remember rightly. I was in the navy back then and young, so I was out clubbing almost every night when I was home on leave. I tried everything to shake off the morning hangovers. Andrews, lucozade etcetera. That was advertised as containing vitamin c and so I thought I'd give it a try. It seemed to ease the symptoms for me but it being dissolved in a pint of water probably helped. Plus I was young so shook them off a bit more quickly than I do now.
That Kellogg's in Trafford park has closed or is closing.

Sunday tea around 6pm, eating the remnants of Sunday Roast Dinner listening to "Sing Something Simple" on the Radio
I think my Sunday memories are a mash-up of different eras:

I remember Jimmy Clithero, Family Favourites, Judith Chalmers - but also Hogan's Heroes and The Big Match (they never ventured outside London, so if the big teams were all playing away, the 'big' match would be something like Orient v Southend...)

Life with the Lyons starring Ben Lyon and Bibi Daniels, Archie Andrews ( a vent act on radio!), Family Favourites, Meet the Huggets,
Take it from Here:“0h Ron”…”Yes Eth?”
Oh yes..The Billy Cotton Band Show.

Came in from working in the garden. Start washing my hands, as soon as the tap starts running I need a pee. Having done said pee then need to wash my hands again.
Oh! the joys of old age, still, better than the alternative :)

My best mate in the early 60's used to live in Kingsfield Drive, Didsbury just behind the old ABC studios, and they used to film Jimmy Clithero's show in his house.

Was Jimmy reincarnated as Jimmy Crankie?
