Our outside shithouse used to freeze over in the winter, the message my mum used to say was never look down. There’s a pub at Blubberhouses in the Dales with outside toilets. It is so cold there that the header tanks have burners under them.

I think my Sunday memories are a mash-up of different eras:Sunday tea around 6pm, eating the remnants of Sunday Roast Dinner listening to "Sing Something Simple" on the Radio
Life with the Lyons starring Ben Lyon and Bibi Daniels, Archie Andrews ( a vent act on radio!), Family Favourites, Meet the Huggets,I think my Sunday memories are a mash-up of different eras:
I remember Jimmy Clithero, Family Favourites, Judith Chalmers - but also Hogan's Heroes and The Big Match (they never ventured outside London, so if the big teams were all playing away, the 'big' match would be something like Orient v Southend...)
And you can't beat the oohs and ahhhs of The Bar Kays in the background :-)Just listened to the phoenix song which is one of my favs, that is a great take on that song enjoyed it.
