He used to have his phizog in our matchday program, advertising the vile, sweaty Greenhall's beer.
He also did the same on television.
I was told by someone who moved in the same steeplejack / engineering / Boltonian circles that Fred disliked the beer though and was a dedicated Guinness drinker.
