City are building one hell of a young squad when you look at the ages of the players we have. Doku 23, Bobb 22, Nico G 23, NOR 20, Reis 19, Cherki 22, Foden 25, Donnaruma 26, Haaland 25, Savinho 21, Gvardiol 23, Lewis 20, Echeverri 19, Ait-Nouri 24, Marmoush 26, Khusanov 21. And there are some very talented youngsters in the academy and out on loan.

The future is looking very bright indeed.

I agree it is looking bright, but I think quite a few players on that list won’t be at city in a few years.

Out of that list we don't know what will happen with Reis and Echeverri. and frankly Bobb, Savinho and Lewis just do not look good enough.

Even assuming the 5 you mentioned don't make it with us, it looks like the long term planning is to be bring in young unproven players ( Cavan Sullivan, Sangare) to supplement our academy prospects.
Although I would love to see Bobb, Lewis and Savinho make it to the top with us, the players currently in our transfer radar are all relatively young with PL experience , Wharton, Semenyo, Anderson and Guehi.
Mentions in a few papers that clubs are showing interest in the likes of Whatmuff and Mubama, both who we value at £1Om.

An experienced PL centre back along with Dias and Gvardiol.
Would also allow the better of Mfuni, Bah, Reis and Khusanov to integrate into the squad

Yep, that’s the way it goes. The top guys we hope stay and those that don’t quite mature into the best are sold for a decent sum.
The problem, of course, is knowing which is which at 20 years old. Thus, Morgan plays for Villa. KDB was a Chelsea reject.

City look to have good cover there in Khusanov and Reis.

If we want an instant upgrade, I'd go for Semenyo.
