The gamble has backfired

And we know who will no doubt get a decent draw but thats another thing. For the sake of competition I'd like another team bar an English one to win it. Just to stop us all from saying every other league is crap. Can't see it happening, United look formidable and Chelsea I think could beat Inter. It's gonna be interesting that's for damn sure! Lets hope were the Lyon of next year ;)

Huge shame, this competition needs the best clubs in the world competing for it, and now Bayern, Lyon, Sevilla/CSKA and Bordeaux/Olympiakos will all be in the quarters, it's just not good enough.

Bullshit. Teams that WIN deserve to be in the competition. Surely they aren't the best if they don't win?

The English teams look the strongest again. I just think other countries cant match the tempo over 90 mins. Milan were yards off the pace last night and couldnt match Utd's energy and tempo. Chelsea will be too strong for Inter and Porto, well enough said.

Can see another all English final, only threat i see is Barcelona and i think all 3 English teams could beat them.

Its garrible from my point of view!

Totally agreed! RM is not the better team, Lyon was!

Same goes for CR9 with the other players.
What did you just call him?

Get out!!!

What? Isn't CR9 is a one trick (dog &) pony show?

Madrid (fans?!) in their desperation turned once again to Floretino Perez to sprinkle the magic stardust and recreate the galacticos when what they SHOULD have been doing is what Barca have done and invested in their own production line of mainly home grown talent but as always with Madrid it´s short termism and promises that turn to dust as last night showed. Looks like Pellegrini will pay the price according to Marca this morning - sums them up really

Yeah I know the "glass houses" will get thrown at me but our owners (if the new plans are anything like expected) are clearly in it for the long haul and are INVESTING not speculating - the impatience comes mainly from supporters which of course is understandable

Build it and they will come
