Steve Coogan is the only 'celebrity' I'm disappointed with, all the other labour supporters are vermin.

Bollocks. He was hacked.

Isn't Hawking on DLA though? Surely that is why he's voting Labour, as he doesn't want the Tories fucking with his benefits?

The good Prof isn't a 'celebrity', he's one of the greatest minds we've ever seen and its offencive to say anything different!

and Multi millionaire so he has a lot in common with Red Ed so he is going with the party that acts in his best interests

PS Has anyone checked if his voice synthesizer has been hacked by rascal?

So if the poor are voting for Labour because it's in their best interests, and now the rich are voting for Labour because it's in their best interests then doesn't this mean that Labour are in the best interests of most of the country?
o

No because the vast majority aren't rich (let's say worth £1million or earning £100k per annum) or poor (unemployed or earning minimum wage £12.5k per annum). The vast majority sit between that but can't avoid tax like rich so bare the biggest burden of supporting the poor.

Who won?
Technically me. But he was the golf trolley.

Warning......warning........thread veering wildly off track.....!

Had the local DUP MP round today (after ridiculing his party on FB through his council colleague for the last 18 months or so), very enlightening it was too on his views on the NHS, Tax avoidance, TTIP, who he would favour if they held the balance of power, the Stormont House Agreement amongst a range of things, now waiting to see if the UUP candidate shows her face in the area after her shameful performance the last time I asked her to justify some of her policies

I don't need a celebrity to influence my vote but I find it refreshing that people like Steve Coogan, etc etc have not forgotten their roots or convictions. He is obviously highly educated and intelligent too. Why shouldn't one vote Labour even if they have a bit of a stash? He has earned it using his talent. Self-made millionaire you could say (thought that would appeal to Tories).

If I was undecided however I would only need to see some of the RWNJ comments on here and that would convince me to vote anything but Tory.

Thatcher made me realise the true Tory way - look after number 1 and sod everyone else.

aaaannnndddddddd.........the Thatcher card gets played once again. I take it the Right wingers play the Blair card just as often?

Some of the stuff spouted by both sides on here would make me run a mile from both parties, if I actually believed the posters on here spoke on behalf of their party.

I am not playing any 'card'. Just using an example. Blair is a Tory in disguise anyway. Always was. Half of the Labour Party despise him.

So there's been no Labour MP since '79 then?

Why do you think that is?

But he wins at everything that actually matters. So call it a draw.
No no. I beat him at squash as well.
I bet he hammered you at Trivial Pursuit though.
Only because they game lasted 8 hours. And that was just 3 questions.

By then I was pissed and had fallen asleep.
