Ashcroft says that the polls are showing a late swing to Labour.

If that is the case and if the SNP stick by their pledge to keep the Tories out of government it would appear that the Tories would not have enough support to form a coalition government.

But a subsequent Labour led coalition may be too fragile to survive.

Not a surprise that there is a labour swing at the moment as the Conservative voters will be working.

I feel we won't know what government we are getting for a couple of weeks though. Will be some to-ing a fro-ing from all parties trying to sort out a coalition of sorts.

In Poynton we are also voting for the town council.
You can choose up to 9 candidates.
Every single one of the fuckers is Tory apart from 2 Greens.

I still think Nigel is a very good man and his intentions are honorable

I hope we eventually have our referendum and it will not be a stitched up referendum
If the seat was a marginal with an ounce of a sniff at achieving the seat I may have just blessed him with a cross.

In life we are always told to look at the bigger picture and the bigger picture is I have no desire to see my country once more fall into a some dark and deep financial abyss

2003 saw the illegal war in Iraq which saw and we're still seeing thousands upon thousands of innocent lives lost. This is the reason I'll never vote Labour again. We were all hoodwinked by Tony Blair and his crew, what makes it worse that he's some kind of peace envoy to the middle east.
He and his mate Bush should be tried on war crimes.
