Not if they lose a vote of confidence.

How? With an overall majority plus the DUP
If 100 or more rebel over the EU then the DUP won't save them. That's reckoned to be at least the number of hard-core anti-Europeans.
Its time to give it up, its over. Dave owns the place

Yep, the tory scum won fair and square. It`s up to us workers, to stand up to the attacks on the NHS and other frontline services that the less fortunate people of our country need and rely on. The move to the right will be coming quickly. Immigrants, NHS, Disabled and mental heath sufferers and organised workers in Trade Unions, will all be targeted again. To the lib dems who supported this shower in the coalition, just fuck off and die.
I read that as the poster saying he wished the lib dem party who supported the torys to die and fuck off, not anyone who voted the lib dems to die..
Leaving your reading abilities to one side for a moment, it doesn't change the thrust of my post to Ducado for a second does it.

That he ignores violations of the CoC on that post but threatened a poster calling Labour.

We now have fixed term governments. The Tories will be here for a full 5 years.

Not if they lose a vote of confidence.
Yes everyone is aware of that but maybe you could explain to Pam how one of those must be called as she is totally unaware it's a lot harder than it used to be since the rule change. Looking now, the Tories have a working majority of at least about 30, that's a very useful number.

As for 100 odd Tories cutting their own throats and calling for one with the opposition if the will of the people in a referendum goes against their wishes, are you having a laugh fella?

I have tried but gave up.

Crack on Dave

Going to be a fantastic parliamentary year. 56 angry SNPs roaring on the opposition benches (if they turn up) for PMQs. EU referendum. Labour leader election. Lib dem leader election.

Are they now entitled to more input at PMQs? Genuine question

In terms of questions it's a fair ballot anyway. Questions usually reflect party's make up of the commons.

I thought Pam posting historical results of small majority governments was sweet.

She's really got it into her head that it will be that easy with no understanding of the rules any more.

Mere details! Those who backed the winner are in gloat mode. Once their pulses have gone back to normal everything will calm down. :)

Funny thing is watching TV a line of labour MP's and ex MP's saying labour need to face up to the realities and find a way to address immigration issues yet no left wing posters on here even see this as an issue.

its not gloating its relief. Can you have imagined Milliband going to meet Obama at the white house? He would probably have fallen over walking up the steps. the whole world would have been laughing at us.

I'm sure you're relieved, I am too when my team wins. But I see a hell of lot of gloating on here too, and a lot of frankly strange Cameron god-love stuff.

Tristram Hunt on BBC 1 talks a good game for Labour.

And Emily Maitland asking if you were up for Balls. I'm game if you are Emily

You may call it gloating - I see it as a vital day for this country. Elated, relived, proud maybe the words. Cameron is a great leader so why is it strange to be proud of him?

Cabinet re shuffle will be interesting I hope Dave brings in some Hard liners now they don't have to appease the lib dems

He will be able to cull some threats to his position as well. May give a good indication of which direction we are going to take

Bloody hell; this thread is worse than the Mancini / Pellegrini ones, by the look of it. Glad I have not bothered with it before.

Welcome on board. Left, Right or Centre?

It is and will continue to be a major issue and until the Labour Party and it's members accept it , they will struggle to make inroads into the Tory / UKIP vote .
